Our Client

is an international pharmaceutical and chemical group headquartered in North Rhine-Westphalia. Based on decades of research activities, our client develops leading pharmaceutical and chemical products that are produced and distributed on a global scale. We are looking for a Biology Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) Pharma for the Wuppertal site as soon as possible.

Your Tasks

In your role, you will be responsible for the development, validation and execution of biochemical and cell-based assays for biological molecules
Deployment and use of pipetting robots and laboratory automation as well as equipping and maintaining the equipment
The independent evaluation of data and preparation of results in presentations is also part of your area of responsibility
Finally, you will support the team by contributing your own suggestions for assay optimization and problem solving

Our Requirements

You have successfully completed training as a biology laboratory technician (m/f/d) or BTA (m/f/d); alternatively, you have an equivalent qualification
Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in practical laboratory work
You have practical knowledge in the development of biochemical assays, cultivation of mammalian cells and flow cytometry
Very good German and good written and spoken English skills are required
A high level of scientific curiosity, analytical thinking and a strong ability to work in a team round off your profile
