Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d)

Our Client
is a large European group with a global reputation for high quality standards, first-class service and reliability, operating in all areas of the construction industry. For the location in Cologne we are looking for you as Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
  • In your role, you will be responsible for processing current business transactions in accounts receivable accounting and posting incoming payments
  • In addition, you will be responsible for invoice verification, account reconciliation and daily monitoring of open items as well as carrying out dunning and collection runs
  • You will be responsible for the monthly advance VAT returns and for maintaining and monitoring customer master data
  • Finally, you will support your colleagues in the accounting department with other general administrative tasks
Our Requirements
  • You have successfully completed your commercial vocational training; alternatively, you have a comparable adequate qualification
  • Ideally, you have initial professional experience in accounting and good knowledge of VAT law
  • You are proficient in the use of MS Office programs, especially Excel, as well as common accounting software
  • Communication skills, the ability to work in a team, a structured way of working and enthusiasm round off your profile
