Head Of Tax Department (m/f/d)

For the business unit Finance we are looking for a Department Manager Tax (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• In your function you will be responsible for the technical management of the tax department with the subject areas taxes and customs.
• This includes, in particular, the systematic examination and assessment of all types of taxes and customs duties, as well as tax planning and tax structuring.
• You will supervise and coordinate ongoing audits by the tax authorities and the main customs office and monitor declaratory tasks such as tax returns, annual tax returns and customs declarations.
• You will also be responsible for personnel management, resource planning and personnel development in the department.
• You will also optimize various processes and implement necessary standardizations in the tax risk management and control system.
• In addition, you identify tax and customs law developments and pass these on to the staff within the framework of internal training courses.

• You have successfully passed the exam to become a tax consultant (m/f/d) and have previously completed a degree in economics or have a diploma in finance (m/f/d)
• You have several years of professional experience in a consulting or auditing firm or a company with a focus on taxes
• You have already successfully led a team and have very good knowledge of income tax, value added tax and wage tax law
• You also have experience in the area of taxation of legal entities under public law and/or non-profit law as well as donor law
• You have a very good command of written and spoken English
• You round off your profile with a structured and analytical way of working as well as a strong understanding of teamwork.
